Collects serviceable furniture and household items to give to individuals and families. CRM has provided furniture to the homeless who are resettled into housing, families who have lost their homes and belongings in a disaster, refugees who have recently immigrated to the United States, and countless more.
Last year Helping Hand processed hundreds of requests from needy families for specific items. Last year CRM delivered essential appliances and furniture to roughly 250 families and individuals in our community.
Volunteers: Assist with deliveries and/or donate household goods for a “free thrift shop” providing donated serviceable household furnishings.
Donations always needed. Always in demand is beds and bedframes. Especially single/twin beds. Bunk beds are IDEAL as many of our clients have limited square footage in their bedrooms and need to sleep more children than they have rooms for.
