The house posted below is located in Elkview, WV area. Compassion Restoration Ministries has been sending teams every week for 4 days at a time. Our team supported this past weekend. Here are more pictures after the subfloor was complete and we began on insulation and drywall work.
Here’s a picture of the home worked on this weekend and the owners. The owners are Jimmy and Terri. Jimmy is a truck driver and is only home on the weekends. He’s been working as much as he can weekends only since the devastation in June. Their house was completely flooded about 4′-high above the floor. When our crew arrived, they had a small section of new subfloor, everything was bare to the studs, except for one bathroom.
