Spent some time today catching up with one of our contacts at a local agency who sends car ministry clients to us. She maintains contact with the people who she refers over a long period of time.

Two notable updates today to pass on.

One lady we provided a car to is enrolled in a program to become an auto mechanic. Her dad is a mechanic. She’s been doing her own repairs to the car we gave her quite some time ago. She hopes to be able to come help us repair cars after she’s got some basic knowledge under her belt.

The other person is an Afghani refugee who we gave a really nice car back in the spring. He has helped 12 other refugees in some way to either gain employment, education, or housing. All because he has a car to get them where they need to be when they need to be there. He’s also employed now as an interpreter locally. He’s doing lots of interpreting to help out other Afghanis as they adapt to life in this area.

The CRM transportation ministry is about life change. Our first hope and prayer is to connect our clients with the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We make the introduction at least. Next is to get them to start/continue to make solid positive decisions in their lives. To break loose of the things that are holding them back or down. Frankly, some of those discussions aren’t pleasant. Pointed advice (even truth) is sometimes hard to accept. Some choose do make better choices. Some don’t.

And we get to see some amazing things happen when people start to make some better decisions.

Add these updates with the lives impacted today by the 3 cars we gave away and we’re calling this a hugely successful year for the “car ministry”.

Without your support, this wouldn’t have been possible. Please continue with the prayers, volunteered time and donated resources. We love seeing life change. Come be part of the story. You will see miracles occur.

God bless you all.
